Just bought this due to the lowered price and its amazing. The controls are very responsive, a very fresh feel to the old standard shoot and bomb arcade-style games. The levels are well designed to lightly ease you into the gameplay. It really feels like youre flying a helicopter and at this new price, its a no-brainer. Get it.

Action packed game that shows what the acceletation sensor can do. To the guy who found this too easy: try the Hard-option!

Fun game controlls and graphics are good but there should be a blue skies 2 where you fly a jet instead of a helicopter also if there are different objective like defending something or attacking a primary object. But otherwise a fun game. Oh one other thing, when the people talk it shouldnt sound like a messed up radio it should sound like they are acrually talking.

Is there anyway people that bought the app for full price a few months ago can get the updated 3GS version for free?(even of its through the old app) Its kind of ridiculous to pay for the same app twice even if its half price now. Why are there two versions when you can just have one version that detects the different models?

Awesome value at under a buck. If you like the lite version, you will not regret paying a dollar for the full version. Great music!

It is a good game with a long career mode but no multiplayer

Until Blue Skies, I thought games using the accelerometers for control pretty much stank (pretty much every driving game), but the control is intuitive here. At least one big bug jumps your player to a different area in the map which is annoying. Overall I think there are some rough edges, but overall Blue Skies is a worthwhile addition to your iPhone catalog.

For $3 you really cant go wrong with this one. $5 max. Im really enjoying this one. It reminds me of the Desert Strike NES days. Which is great!! Looks great, sounds great is great. PRESS SLEEP/WAKE BUTTON TO PAUSE MORONS!!

This game is pretty cool and way fun, dont think just get it!

This is one great game! The tilt control is like being in a real helicoptor and the firing controls are right where your thumbs would naturally be. Graphics & sound effects are great. I cant put the game down until my hands cramp up. As with most apps though, it could use a little improvement. It needs to be more challenging. After half way through the levels it becomes same o same o. Each new level there are more bad guys to kill but they arent any more difficult to kill. Ive upgraded all weapons and bought a few extra helicoptors so theres no way I can lose a level. Ive only got a couple levels to go so maybe there will be a surprise at the end. Overall, I love this game and it was worth the $3. This game is great therapy if you need a distraction from lifes problems.

Easy to play, great graphics and very addictive. A definate iphone must have!
